In year 2, NRT participants will take a Team Research Course, where they: (1) draft a synthesis article on their team project, (2) participate in the lab meetings of their partner’s mentors, (3) collaborate on research. In parallel, NRT participants will take a Team Writing Course, where they attend a writing workshop and then work in groups to analyze one another’s writing with guidance, thereby learning how to provide constructive feedback and organize ideas logically. Teams will be also required to contribute oral presentations, for which they will receive training, at the Team Colloquium and posters at the annual symposium.
